A new free Kurdish book for young readers
We are delighted to share Çîrokên Zarokan, a collection of 25 Kurmancî children’s stories by Ferdi Elmas.
From a small seed of hope to friendship across distances, these stories invite children into a world of imagination, kindness, family, memories and dreams. Written in accessible Kurmancî, the collection aims to make reading in Kurdish enjoyable while giving young readers space to talk about their feelings and experiences.
Each story ends with a simple question to inspire discussion between children, parents and teachers. The 70-page book is available as a free PDF. Educators are encouraged to review its suitability for their students before classroom use.
